COMPANY PRESENTATION

Vibercon Economic Consultancy Ltd.was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating internationalisation, networking and research and development and innovation (R&D&I) activities of companies in less-developed regions namely the Northern Hungarian and the North Great Plain Region. The seat of the company is located in the capital of the Northern Hungarian Region, in the City of Miskolc. The main focus of our activity is to strengthen the competitiveness of the local economy through international R&D&I actions and networking between the members of the innovation chain. The company’s main fields of activities are as follows:

Preparation and management of national and international R&D&I projects

We have been participating in the generation, elaboration and management of international R&D&I projects since FP5 (5th EU Framework Programme). Our cooperation partners are among others SMEs; large enterprises; research institutions; universities; local governments and development agencies; a variety of local and international players in the field of R&D&I. Just to mention some of our relevant projects in which we have completed preparatory and management activities:

Strategic planning and programming

Besides project level development activities Vibercon Ltd. places great emphasis on being an active partner in local and international programming processes, business and strategic consultancy. In the framework of these activities we have participated in the elaboration of several Regional Innovation Strategies (RIS and S3) and other programming documents. Our most important partners are: „NORRIA” (North-Hungarian Regional Innovation Agency Non-profit Corporation); „INNOVA” Észak-Alföld Regional Development and Innovation Agency Non-profit Ltd.; „NMTKHT” Development Agency of Nógrád County; Neogradiensis Euroregion Association and Miskolc City with County Rank, where we made significant contribution to the elaboration of the Action Plan for Creating Attractive Business Environment in cooperation with a widespread local partnership.

Networking and internationalisation

Last but not least we actively supported the establishment of several clusters to strengthen the competitiveness of companies, helping them to step in to international markets. The following clusters have benefited from our contribution:
